About the Ground Floor

Resurrection Life Church opened the Ground Floor in 2000 to not only give high school students a place to bring their friends and connect with Christ, but all to develop these students into totally-committed followers of Jesus Christ who take their their faith beyond the walls of their homes and church to reach their schools, neighbors, and their future. As a ministry of Resurrection Life Church, the Ground Floor integrates the vision of ResLife into everything we do.

The Ground Floor helps develop each student through:

• 1) Collectives

  • Encourage Accountability and Discipleship

    Matthew 28:19 & 20
    Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...

  • Developing strong Student Leadership to positively affect, influence and be an example to those around them to grow in their relationship with God.

    1 Corinthians 11:1
    Follow me example as I follow the example of Christ.

• 2) Raising up students to be positive role models

  1 Timothy 4:12, Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in faith, and in purity.

• 3) Encourage students to become active in the body

  • Raise up students to be involved in the Ground Floor as well as in other areas of ministry at ResLife: nursery, children's ministry, special events, custodial, ushers/greeters, etc...

Besides the high school ministry of the Ground Floor, the Ground Floor building is also regularly used for events, and other ResLife ministries like Access, a college ministry; the Men's Breakfast; Women's events and a host of conferences and other events.
